Im just getting this discussion started.
What are your ideas on tech queue?

Tonight I will open a poll for 2 days, once that poll is completed another one will be opened, and so on.

I want to get a discussion started now.

I think we should hit Education quickly and then work out a trade to forcefeed it to Ghandi. Then perhaps a dash to Economics for the all important Smith?

I agree that we should eventually head to Democracy. First, though, we have to take care of taking over our own continet. THEN we go to Democracy.

It seems that there are 3 option that we could take.
1) Go towards Economics.
2) Go towards Democracy.
3) Go towards Military Tradition.
Here is a tech tree that I might do in this situation. I have reduced it a bit so that it is not as big. Some of the non-essential techs have been highlighted if we ever want to go for them.

Get Democracy first -> Then get Economics. When we switch to democracy goverment we'll probably research Economiss in just 4 turns.

That's the thing that's up for debate. Our future goals is the thing that will dictate our research, and we're at an impasse for future goals.

I disagree with both of you. Get economics, then head straight for Industrial Age. We should be able to buy Invention shortly.
