Writing is nice, but the Diplomacy Deity and member in good standing of the War Church demands Polytheism, that we might worship many gods as our Elephants sheath their tusks in the beating hearts of new enemies! 
As a fellow member of the war church, I disagree since we must first complete research that will make us stronger in the future (By increasing the rate of research) so that when we do finally meet the enemy we will be able to build great armies that will never be defeated.
