The Baneblade is the primary super-heavy tank used by the Imperial Guard and is one of the largest and oldest tanks used by the Imperium. These massive machines often serve as the command vehicles for entire regiments or spearhead armoured attacks, organized into their own super-heavy companies. Such is the power of a Baneblade that nothing short of another war engine, such as a Titan, would dare to face one in single combat.
More versions coming.

A Banesword is a derivation of the Shadowsword, modified to carry a siege Quake Cannon instead of a Volcano Cannon.
The Shadowsword design, while based on the same STC data as the Baneblade, is specifically armed and equipped to hunt and destroy enemy Titans.
The Stormhammer is armed with a massive array of weaponry configured to serve at the vanguard of an expedition into areas considered hostile. During the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy, the Stormhammer was the preeminent super-heavy tank of the Solar Auxilia, often used as the vanguard of the Imperium's invasion and pacification forces.
The Hellhammer was built to provide short-ranged fire support in difficult conditions (like city fights).
The Doomhammer is a Super Heavy Tank which was created from the necessity for Titan-killing vehicle and as an affordable substitute for the Shadowsword.
The Stormblade is built on the same chassis as the Shadowsword but lacks the advanced features of the original design. In their place it mounts a Plasma Blastgun, a powerful short-ranged weapon capable of destroying Titans.
The Stormsword is an Imperial Guard super-heavy vehicle based on the Shadowsword built specifically for sieges and street-fighting.
The Banehammer is stupid.
The Stormlord is a rarer variant of the Baneblade super-heavy vehicle geared towards the destruction of infantry.
The Macharius Heavy Tank next.

Forge Worlds seeking to secure large military contracts but lacking the necessary STC data, or who experience a shortfall in Baneblade production, the Macharius is a viable lesser alternative and has become a common sight in the regiments of the Imperial Guard. The Macharius 'Vanquisher' is armed with twin-linked Vanquisher Cannons in the main turret. Fired at very high velocities, the anti-tank shells can penetrate even the thickest of armour, turning this variant into a potent tank hunter. The Macharius 'Vulcan' mounts the Vulcan Mega-Bolter, a fearsome weapon firing thousands of rounds per minute. The Vulcan is a highly-effective anti-infantry platform. The Macharius 'Omega' is armed with a mighty Omega-pattern Plasma Blastgun that can devastate swaths of the battlefield with its superheated blasts of energy.
Next, the Armageddon pattern vehicles and the Gorgon heavy transport.

The Gorgon Armoured Assault Transport is a heavily-armored trench warfare vehicle designed to transport a large number of troops across no man's land. Mostly used by the Death Korps.
The Medusa Siege Tank is an aging siege platform used when attacking the thick walls of an enemy-held city or fortress. The Basilisk is the main line artillery piece throughout the Imperium, designed to provide medium to long-range fire support. The Armageddon - Hades patterns - of both have fully enclosed fighting compartments.

Fire support vehicles.
The Deathstrike Missile Launcher is able to fire a massive payload over extreme ranges
The Wyvern Suppression Tank exchanges the Hydras anti-aircraft cannons for a pair of twin-linked Mortars. The Mortars unleash a torrent of airbursting shrapnel shells which shred enemy infantry.
The Hydra is a self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicle. Hydras provide essential anti-air protection and can also serve in a ground support role.
The Manticore is a mobile missile/rocket launcher. It can fulfill a number of roles from long-range bombardment to air defense.

The word, "death," appears in lot of vehicle and unit names in WH30K, doesn't it? :P

-edit- That came out very rude, deleted. My bad.
You are right Pat. I agree.

A Sentinel is an all-terrain walker for reconnaissance and search-and-destroy.

Didn't Palpatine have a similar innovation on Endor?

tanelorn-malcador-and-variants-png.634287

The rare Malcador is an ancient tank design still kept in reserve by the Imperial Guard. Thought to be older than the smaller Leman Russ, the Malcador's bulk and heavy layers of armour plating gives it improved durability at the cost of speed. The tank does suffer from several limitations. One is the fact that its primary weapon is mounted in a limited-traverse turret embrasure or in the case of the Defender variant (the most common version) a heavy fixed casemate. More damning to the design is its engine plant, more commonly used in agricultural and industrial machinery, that is underpowered in relation to the tank's size and weight. Even rarer variants exist.

More 40k regimental armor:
Tallarn desert raiders
Armageddon steel legion
Valhallan ice warriors
and
Chaos traitor or renegade rustbuckets. Spiky bits in the making.

That's a lot of Dakka! Fantastic stuff :goodjob:
I don't know. They could kind of similar to recoloured modern armoured military vehicles. *hides from zealous Warcraft fans* :P
