Scout Problems With Patch

I did not have the following two problems prior to the installation of the patch. (I installed only the correct one.)

1) I have one city, early in the game. A Scout discovered "The Wheel" on one turn. On the next turn, a worker completed a road to a forest tile with "Game" resource. I was informed that I had completed a road to Horses and received that strategic resource in my city box. I only had one city and the road was only two tiles long. There were no Horses in my city radius. I got FREE horses in error!

2) A scout ends his move next to a "Goody Hut". On the first of his two moves, he moves onto the goody hut and is immediately moved his second move in the same line. I am notified that I've received a map from the friendly tribe. This only occurs if the bonus is a map of the area - it does not occur if it is a unit or scientific advancement.

Neither of this occured before the patch was installed.
 
Did you check the terrain under your city for horses? Sometimes the resources pop up where your city already is, and you don't see them unless you do a ctrl-shift-m or check the terrain info of the city.
 
Bramble is right about the hidden horses under my city. Good Observation! :goodjob: (I'm usually not lucky enough to find a spot like that for starting in - it surprised me!)

I still have the problem with the Automatic move for my Scouts on their second allowed move. It actually happens for any event except discovering a Scientific Advance, not only for map of area.
