Screen scolling bug

Hello Lena: Thanks again for being so helpful with this. I went into my options and found no way to turn off the animation. Could just be because I am old and blind. Is there a way to edit a config to do this? It seems to happen primarily if you are moving the mouse on game turn as the game enters AI combat. If you leave the mouse cursor still it doesn't trigger the scroll effect. I also have not mentioned that I am not running any mods.

This happens to me also. Stops when I turn combat animations off in options. It's really annoying and happened since the patch in vanilla.

Now I know a workaround is to not scroll after end turn it will help. I normally scroll by moving the cursor to the side.

Just a Post to say

Same here.

If combat starts and I'm scrolling I end up a constant scroll until combat stops.

This may sound odd but the problem seemed to lessen when I upped the map tesellation to high and set anti-aliasing to 4X. Or maybe my subconscious mind just kicked in and I scrolled less on turn change. This was also later in the game and there were fewer civs on the map so less going on between turns. I am starting a new game now and will update if this stays the same.

sometimes, while waiting for the AI to finish their moves, the screen starts scrolling
around, very annoying!
at times it scrolls down to a specific place usually *foggy* and stays there, and if i try
to move the map it just comes back there..
or sometimes it scrolls vertically, all the time until it's my turn again.. really uneasy for
the eye..
