I am having difficulty getting the game to display properly on my laptop. I am loosing details on the top and bottom. Any suggestions?

I appear to have a few scan lines below the visible part of my screen. Perhaps that is what you are refering to. Its not quite bad enough to be annoying. Only the top part of the horizontal promotion bar of a unit is visible. It was so bad, I did not notice that promotion bar until I had played about two weeks. I have to mouse over it to really tell what it is (it is annoying to have to do that, but I usually don't care what my progress to the next promotion is, so it doesn't bother me much)
