Screensavers

I was wondering, what format are windows screensavers and where are they stored at? I would like to design a few for myself. Thanks

They are simply regular Windows programs with a .scr extension instead of .exe, and which are stored in C:\Windows\System32. If you want, you can make Minesweeper your screensaver by copying it, changing the copy's extension, and then choosing "Minesweeper" as your screen saver in Display Properties->Screensaver (or wherever your version of Windows has its screensaver settings; I use XP).
