Screenshot resolution

I have a little question, many thanks to those who can answer it for me .

How can I take High-resolution screenshots? ingame? I'm asking this here because when creating buttons for a civilization I need to take a screenshot of the flag in-game and crop the emblem.

Anyway, is there anyway to increase the resolution at which teh screenshot is taken?

Print screen also puts the image on the clipboard. Just ALT-TAB out of Civ4 and paste it into your favorite image software.

But can you tell me how to make the game take a screenshot? what is the hotkey?

Print screen is the hotkey. You should find the screenshots in My Documents/My Games/Civilization 4/ScreenShots.

u can also change the format of screenshot output in Civilization4.ini config file

Surely you can just get the image from the original .DDS file?

Perhaps he wants it looking 'wavy', like the default ones.
