How do you take screenshots?

It should be possible to simply press the print screen button whilst in the game, then you quit the game, open paint, and paste the picture. Alternatively you download a program where you configure a particular combination o tkae the picture and to automatically save the file so that you can take multiple screenshots without quiting.

ROMs I believe. Of course, its only legal is you own the game anyway

I have never seen any for PS2, only the orignal.

However, giving you a link would violate the forum rules, and, secondly, i dont know any links anyway (since that sort of thing doesnt interest me).

Sorry, but I must nitpick
It's only legal to own a ROM of a game as a backup of your file. However, to do this the copy has to be legitemate, which means ROMs of the internet are illegal because those are pirated. The only way to get a backup ROM legally is to make your own. However, the software used to make the ROM has been decided to be illegal.
Thus, there is no legal way to obtain a legal ROM. Although it's not like it matters, because Sony's not going to knock on your door asking if you own any illegal ROMs or anything. It's more of a question of morals.

Ontopic:
As K-D said, it's hard to get a screenshot of a GBA or console game. I can try, once I have the time.

I use original CDs, but I think ROMs work too.

In my File Menu there are following options:
-Run CD-ROM
-Run ISO
-Run PS-EXE
-Run BIOS

One of these options probably runs ROMs.
