Screwed up font after hard drive nuking

Ok I posted this in the general forum and haven't gotten a response...I'm hoping someone here can help. Please refer to the link above to see pics of what I'm talking about.

Is it possible that my slip-streamed install of windows xp has some fonts missing? I thought the only font that was needed was included with the game (the syneal one or whatever).

try to install the sylvaen font - usually this is just a problem with vista installs - but maybe yours also did not install it...
the font itself is provided as a ttf file with the install but it may need to be installed as a system font

Wonderful it worked! Thanks man...I was tearing my hair out. I reinstalled the game like 5 times trying to figure this out.

I had a similar problem. The Sylfaen font was already installed as a font under Vista, but ingame it looked very blurry and the characters weren't always aligned correctly compared to how it used to look on WinXP. So I simply removed it and now I have the font shown in the OP's post which I actually like better.
