Wisenut.com has indexed these threads... admin could take advantage of that by adding relevant search form to the "search dissabled" template of vBulletin.
I didn't have as much luck with Google or Teoma, and had only limited success with Alltheweb.com.
There may be engines with no adverts.... like, openfind but they are undergoing "reconstruction" - whatever that is?!
Correction. It seems Wisenut has also achieved only partial indexing. I noticed there's no robots.txt file which means...
1) Good robots like Google aren't being guided to the juicy content
2) Rubbish robots that crawl for emails are free to scan all threads and waste server time
