First of all, I'm sorry for not following the choice, but I had to do my own thing this one time here or else I wouldn't be able to make myself update this.

Ramesses was very curious about the land to the west that was first discovered by France, so he went to Louis XIV for a trade. Ramesses wanted to see France's maps, so Louis offered him the maps for 197 gold. Odd number, but it worked.

With being able to see France's maps, Ramesses got a much better view of the Earth. He got a much better view of the oceans, and of the lands to the west. It turned out that both Portugal and England had also settled colonies here, and were gathering more lands for themselves.

Also, something else caught Ramesses's eye... It appears that old enemies, the Celts, were uprising in parts of France. They had studied new technologies and silencing, and eventually revolted against France and took control of the cities of Milan and Cherbourg.

Tales were also heard of the Celts also taking back the island of Ireland, but Ramesses didn't have maps to prove that.

As Egypt was focusing on science and economy, native healers from the south of Egypt near Mombasa were healing soldiers that were fending off the legions and protecting the people from the warriors. This news was given to Ramesses and he was asked to choose whether to reach peace with the natives or not.

Ramesses stated that the natives were just making a ploy, and they would just attack us again anyway, so he said no. He appreciated the healers and the work they did, but he ordered the soldiers be sent back to the battlefield as soon as they could.

News was soon given to Ramesses II that Cherbourg, a Celtic base, was taken by the French. The Celts were not doing so hot in the mainland, but tales were being spread around Carthage that many French troops were thinking about revolting against their ugly king, and joining the Celtic forces.

Milan was the only confirmed Celtic city to not be under foreign control, but Ireland could still be under the hole of Brennus, the leader of the Celts. Ramesses also heard from people talking in the markets that there were troops on Great Britain that were also starting to talk about leaving behind the Queen and fighting for Brennus...

SC Decision!

Spoiler :
Sorry for only 4 images, but I didn't know what else to really put on there, as I didn't want the Celtic Revolution to just be one update

1) Keep trading world maps with France for as little gold as possible, and send an envoy to reestablish contact with England, and send a galley to see the Celts in Ireland
2) Quit trading maps with France, and ignore the tales of Celtic Ireland, and just enjoy our own non-rebelling citizens in good old Egypt and Australia
3) Keep trading world maps with France for as little gold as possible, and send spies to Hippo (owned by France) to start trouble. They would smuggle in Celtic immigrants under the guise of Egyptians, and eventually cause Hippo to be taken by the Celtic

Also, if possible, I'd like to have a formal name for Egypt that we can use in this good old thread here. Like the vote in Caterpillar's Brazil thread.

Just post the name you want and people will either create their own or vote for yours or someone else's.

Voting for options ends in 48 hours. Voting for formal forum name ends in 4 days

Option 3

Option 1 And I don't know, it seems weak-natured.

How about the United Pharoahdom (like Kingdom) of Egypt? :D

So how does everyone feel about the unexpected Celtic revolution?

I think Set is up to his tricks again. This time ,however, it is good because he gets his anarchy in foreign nations and we get order in our own. I do think it will likely fail unless we help.
