Section E: Cheats

I don't think it's a bug OR a cheat. 0% doesn't mean the ship will never arrive. As far as I've seen, any ship you launch will ALWAYS arrive. The success % determines your SpaceShip score.

Habitation modules multiplied by 50, multiplied by the success % = SpaceShip score.

SpaceShip popluation divided by 200, multiplied by the success % = SpaceShip score.


So, effectively, the success % is really how many of your colonists survive the trip to A.C. More survivors = higher SpaceShip score.

The barest launch-able SpaceShip I've seen is a habitation module with 3 structurals - no fuel or propulsion necessary! It lands in 110 years - earliest launch date of 900AD. With 4 structurals, it takes 120 years so can be launched anytime, even BC.

Of course, with a 0% success %, your SpaceShip score is 0.
