hi guys,

If you are sending say 10 unites to attack a city, is there any way to select them all and ask them to attack the city in one turn?

I keep having to right click, select one, then attack individually.
very frustrating.

Also half the time, i keep selecting units i already used.

2. Is there any way to have a variety of units move together? i saw somewhere that J moves a group, but it moved only the same units. Is there a way to move a mixed group of say cavalry and infantry together?

thanks!

Of course. Do you have Conquests? If you do, look for some buttons in the bottom right of the screen, above the info box there. That's what they do. :)

not sure if i have conquests :( i am a noob.
I just got the civ 3 cd. Isnt conquests the expansion pack?
Is it a free upgrade or something I need to pay for again?

No, Conquests is an expansion, one you have to pay for. :) If you have just 1 CD, you don't have conquests.

I'm not sure of the shortcuts in Vanilla (unexpanded civ3, what you have :)).

It is in the pedia in game concepts. Choose Hotkeys:Game Controls and under it choose Hotkeys:Unit Commands :D Number keypad tells you how to move units with the keyboard. Holding down shift will move your units faster oh press Ctrl-C to bring up the pedia :yup:
