I would pick:juventus 96',ajax 95',milan 89'-90',liverpool 70's/80's,and ajax 71'-73'.
so,what 5 club sides would you vote for?start voting for your best 5,dudes. ;)

Yeah were is Man Utd from 1999 i rank them as a great footballing team aswell as Nottingham Forest from the early 1980's

Hey dude! Where is ManU?
You have to include ManU under Sir Alex. The treble wiing team is a team that will rarely be repeated. This is a bad poll, in fact, there should be no poll because you cannot have all the get reigns of football teams throught out the eras. What about the National teams? Many have had great reigns. thei is a bad poll. :nono:

poll is not that bad!!! :D

R.Star (91), Ajax (71), Liverpool (70s), Santos (Pele), Milan (80s).

Your poll sucks :p

No mention of Celtic's all conquering 67 team, first British club to win the European Cup.

Their achievement was all the more remarkable as it was accomplished with a team consisting exclusively of Scottish nationals - a feat that will almost certainly never be equalled again (by any nationality). Also, all team members were born within a 20 mile radius of Glasgow (not that its got anything to do with my point)

Furthermore, Celtic won every single competition they entered that year - the Scottish League, Scottish Cup, League Cup, Glasgow Cup and European Cup

And this coming from someone that loves to loathe Celtic :D

Athletic de Bilbao might get close in these times, which is a much greater performance if you'd ask me. If they hadn't lost to Juve in the finals of the uefa cup in 1977, they'd have won it with 11 basques. Besides, in the sixties foreign players were more of a rarity than they are now.

Your point that that celtic was a strong team is still valid though.

Real Madrid in the 50s
Santos in the 60s
Ajax in the early 70s
Milan in the late 80s/early 90s
Real Madrid in the early XXI century.

Btw, this poll is alright. The only changes teams that wouldn't belong here imo are Marseille and Red Star (sorry Alone). I'd replace them with Flamengo in the 80s (when Zico played there) and perhaps Dynamo Kiev in the 80s.

Yea, poll is O.K. It's not perfect 'tho. Some teams should be added like mentioned Celtic & Manchester Utd. maybe even Porto who beat Bayern (87?) and Bayern with Beckenbauer (3title era). Some maybe excluded ;) . As for R.Star my favourite period was '79 "Du-le Sa-vic" (when they played in UEFA cup finale and lost from Munchengladbach).

Hey, nobodys perfect, so this poll also :D . But I'm glad that he mentioned "the only" Belgrades club. :D

Okay! Shall we stop the comments on this poll?

My 5: liverpool 70's/80's, juve 96, marseille 93, ajax 95, milan 89-90.

:)

as I sayed earlier,my best 5 are:

ajax 95'
milan 89'-90'
liverpool 70's/80's
juventus 96'
ajax 71'-73'

Well, I *may* be biased, but I chose both Ajax sides, Barca under Cruijff, Red Star Belgrade, and Liverpool.
