The units are in the extras-folder of the PtW-expansion (not in the C3C expansion!):

civ3ptw\extras\Medieval Japan

IIRC, the Dinosaur units are in the PtW extras folder as well. Raaawwwwrrrr!

... and may be even more important the Firaxis WW2 units, too.
