Can you believe it? It seems to me that I'm still dreaming.
10 years ago we were in Serie C2, struggling for a promotion in C1 (and failing every year)

Juventus 43
Inter 35
Milan 34
Fiorentina 33
Livorno 31
Chievo 27
Sampdoria 25
Lazio 23
Palermo 22
Roma 21
Udinese 20
Siena 19
Empoli 18
Reggina 17
Ascoli 14
Messina 12
Cagliari 12
Parma 11
Treviso 11
Lecce 11

Next wednesday the long awaited Livorno-Milan...it's time to catch them!!

Looks good. :)

enjoy it while it lasts (no prediction or anything, but success is fleeting in football (especially if you don't have a huge budget))....

AC Milan will lose against Livorno. I'm happy for you Rhye :goodjob:

Impressive? Yes!
Unbelievable? NO

When The 'fine fleur' of Holland spent their years in the Serie A, I followed results.
Yet, for me, Livorno, Chievo, Siena, Empoli, Reggina, Ascoli, Messina & Treviso are all unknown..............

Time will tell amico mio. One thing is for sure, Milan won't beat Livorno.. they didn't last season @ Livorno, they certainly won't THIS season.

Of course I'm sure I'll be wrong and AC will win 4-0 :crazyeye:

well.. 31 points at this stage is usually enough to escape relegation at least, right?

With 40 you're 99% sure you're safe.

In Italy, teams can be really close.

A few years ago, with 2 more rounds to play, there were 6 teams that were both in the race for UEFA tickets, as well as fearing relegation.

what's unbelievable for me is that I grew up with my greatest dream that was my team being promoted to serie C1 (and later, to Serie B). Our foes were Tuscanian towns, and later, close Tuscanian cities teams like Pisa, Lucchese, Viareggio, Spezia, Prato etc.
Now they're all still there in C, who knows how long are they going to stay over there...

btw what's the fine fleur of Holland?

I think he means Gullit, Rijkaard and Van Basten...

Well, much broader than that. Also the subtop went to Italy in the early 90s. Today, I am not aware of any Dutchmen in the serie A.

Jaap Stam?
Clarence Seedorf? :crazyeye:

Well, I was thinking of Orange players. Sorry for screwing that up.

Stam doesn't play for the Netherlands anymore? He resigned?

Yeah, after Euro 2004 already! Howcome no one outside Holland is aware of this hahaha
I knew it! :yeah: :toobadhollandmadeittotheworldcup

As for Livorno, ever since Rhye started posting about them they are my favourite club in Italy. :goodjob:

And how many games have been played? Juve has 43 points, which certainly seems to be quite alot...

We will so be destroyed in the CL.
