"settler view" in BtS?

In vanilla, selecting a settler would show an outline of all your cities' workable tiles (big fat cross), to help you avoid overlapping tiles when founding a new city. This was really helpful to optimize city placement.

This feature seems to be gone in BtS. Is it hiding in an option somewhere now? If it still exists, is there a way to show "settler view" even without a settler? I can visualize city placement without it, but it's harder, and I've made an error or two in the past.

It should be there (at least the centre 9 tiles), although it won't appear if your settler is standing within 2 tiles of an existing city.

The BUG mod has a dotmap tool that clearly marks BFCs on the map, its perfect for what your talking about.

It's an option under the graphics menu. I can't remember the name, but it's close to the bottom of the list of options. I believe it should be defaulted to on.

The BUG mode does indeed have what you're looking for as the game doesn't provide a BFC view unless you have a settler selected.
