Setup Fail

Hey all!

I hope this isn't a double post, but I am having the strangest problem. I can't seem to run Setup or Autorun for Civ 3. I've tried running it from disk in both of my drives, copying th einformation onto my hard drive and running it from there and I have checked my tech specs. As far as I can see everything is fine, the files just refuse to run. O_O

Well, actually, they run. Task Manager says they are running, they just aren't doing anything as far as I can see.

I haven't used to disk to install for a while, though I know it still works as others have used it, and I'm having the same issue with my PTW disk.

Any ideas?

Delete the extra running tasks, and try again.

Is this a reinstall? You might need to follow the directions in this post, to clean any previous Civ3 info off of the machine.

I'm not running any non-essential programs. I also shut down Explorer and tried running it straight from disk to no avail.

About the reinstall question.... is it?

As I said, it is both setup and autorun, meaning that I couldn't run the game, and then I couldn't re-install it.
