These are just my guesses based on the sgotm progress page: 3 teams have not uploaded a save since end of September.

Konya has 2 fewer food but it works out doing 7 merchants for 1 turn. I had 6 GPP margin there.

Could be... but their last save was uploaded 6 October, and the final save won't show up there... so it would have to be a VERY recent (in real time) finish.

Good question, I had assumed it was part of a trade or bribe. If not, then probably, though I am not sure.

Land the four units on board on the nearest forested-hill dye tile, go back and get more units (including the WE in Dijon) utilizing galley chaining, see what damage the barbs do to themselves the following turn, and -- if they stand pat -- attack the spear and an archer with cats, then utilize the WE to eventually get to bombard range.
 
Just finished another part of the set and Augustus has Capitulated.
In addition, Vicki capitulated to Churchill.
We have Optics and are building a Caravel in Konya.
We have two Great Merchants so far. Nice work on the schedule Folket, it is working out fine. We do have a slight problem in Istanbul as we are a pop point short it seems. Please have a look.
Not sure where we want to take our great Merchants? Cannot find the Temple of Artemis city. :hmm:

Just finished another part of the set and Augustus has Capitulated.
In addition, Vicki capitulated to Churchill.
We have Optics and are building a Caravel in Konya.
We have two Great Merchants so far. Nice work on the schedule Folket, it is working out fine. We do have a slight problem in Istanbul as we are a pop point short it seems. Please have a look.
Not sure where we want to take our great Merchants? Cannot find the Temple of Artemis city. :hmm:

ToA was in York (NE of hastings) but it looks to have been captured by Churchill. Maybe easiest just to send them to Marseilles. It has pop 15 and is nearby. We just need enough for Astro now not sure Eng is even needed.

Nice of Churchill to take out Vicki for us. :lol:

Maybe just suicide the the cats to take Paulopolous. Perhaps we should hang on to it as a temple city instead of razing.

How much more do we need in terms of units should we begin the religion spreading while we finish off Nappy and start taking the barbs out?

And somebody needs to build the AP.

It is supposted to have 596 GPP on turn 154 to allow Erdine to generate a GM. Then it ends up with close to 700 GPP at the end of the GA generating a GM a few turns later.

Bursa this turn, Erdine in three turns and Istanbul soon after the GA ends.

Looks perfect.
 
So only the French left and then victory. I guess focus needs to be capturing/razing HCs, building temples and spread Hinduism in the right proportions.

Just to note, was going to build some more Galleys in the cities along the northern coast and use some of the units in the west to go after the holy city in the north. Some others can probably go south to be used against the southern holy City and the Islamic Holy City.

There is a Caravel being built in Konya for exploration to the south.

You will find some Hindu Missionaries heading south to infect Churchill and Vicki.

We need to reembark the units in England for use against the Islam Holy city, and I think you will need another couple of Galleys full.

There are more units headed towards Paulopolis. If it gets taken, then they can be used against Nappy.

iirc, Istanbul will starve a pop point in two turns and will not have the population to support 14 according to your schedule on turn 9 of the GA.
