I must have added one to many 9s. I will have a look at my calculations at home.

Can we figure out minimum number of turns to victory?

This would tell us when the AP needs to be built (and in what religion), as the vote cycle is fixed.

It will also help us focus on the remaining tasks:

Cap Nappy to us or Louis.
Spread religions as needed
get astronomy
capture/raze HC's
whip 70 temples
ensure enough votes to win election

We should also figure out how far from Dom we would be and whether that could be faster.

If we take more than 20 t to complete all these tasks, we might as well take 100, as far as standings go, imo.

Just started playing BOTM 82, but I exists and can play.

I would really enjoy if someone else also made an effort on determining finish dates.
 
20 turn is a possible but ambitious goal. Our biggest problem is that we only have 1 city with a second religion and it will take many turns to spread it.
 
Agree, 20 turns is very ambitious. There are so many things that need to be moved around. :eek:

I can make a short (4 turn) plan tonight to focus our thoughts and decide what is most important.
 
PPP draft
Move GM to Rouen and make a trade mission. We can make a trade mission in Orenburg this turn, but getting a couple of gold coins is probably worth a delay.
GM in Konya,plan to board a galley and move to Warwick, perhaps find the ToA city and make a trade mission.
Dijon will build 2 missionaries. First mission for caravel will be to move islam missionary to Konya. Then konya will build missionaries as well.
GM in Bursa will move west and transport to Warwick.

Build Galley in Diyarbakir, move units to Confuziusgrad and raze it.

When two more elephants arrive at Paulopolis suicide cats and keep the city.

Armies in England move to Siddhartha mtn and raze the city with help from elephants in Rome. Then move this army on to Islam holy city and raze it.

We have 36 WEs and 28 catapuls. I think a speedy capture of a holy city can require 7 WEs and 3 cats.

Plan for Napoleon will be to gather armies in Edirne and drop them outside of Chartres and Tours.

Armies at PauloPolis will board galleys/galleons and search for the jewish holy city.

We should buy engineering from Augustus in three turns. It will help moving our armies around.
 
Trade resources to Augustus to help him grow his cities.

A couple of points.
Do we need Christianity and that is why you plan to keep Paulopolis, or is it to whip boats with the pop? Or something else?

The reason to keep PauloPolis was mostly to be able to upgrade galleys to Galleons. It should speed up taking the jewish city as to me that seems to be a bottleneck here.
