It will cost us 1k gold to get engineering. I do not think that is a good idea. We are better off to tech astronomy and trade Augustus Astronomy for engineering.

Two galleys that just unloaded outside of Confusiusgrad will move east to Paulopolis. A new Trimeme needs to be built.

GM in Edirne should move to Napoleon and make a trade mission in Paris. It will allow us to continue doing 100% research.

Change to slavery next turn.

The two GMs going to England will land in Canterbury in four turns.

Islam missionary will start with copper that might be able to build missionaries at a good pace. Next might run up to Rostov where I could dry whip a few.

When do we want to Attack Napoleon? I think we can defeat him pretty fast.

I completely failed with GPs in Istanbul. I looked at the city confirming there was 14 merchants, but it was 9. =(

I think you should dow nappy asap, because he takes a long time to be willing to talk.

Looking good, like how you have it all labeled. :goodjob:

Better sell him Compass this turn for 90 Gold and see what you can get for Optics. We will not be able to trade for Astro until he has those techs. :)

With the whip back, shouldn't be a problem to get Trireme built :whipped:

Don't we need Open Border with Nappy to do a trade mission? He ain't signing one. :(

Change to slavery next turn.
:yup:

Yes, think it is wise. :yup:

Declaring on Nappy could happen whenever you are ready. May have to take quite a few of his cities, as swede pointed out, he is stubborn. :)
Watch out for his Caravels.

Not to worry about Istanbul, it is hard to tell at a glance how many there are because of the way they stack. 5 looks like 10 to me, I went more by the city pop size and how many citizens were working. Think with 4 we had enough.

Now, perhaps a last golden Age? :yumyum:

I think GM's can enter borders even without an OB agreement. Could be wrong...

Is Islamabad the south barb island? Judaism in the East. Where is Taoism island?

Are we planning to build AP? I see we have pop for dom, but we have quite a bit of land to get. Anybody know what the voting cycle for AP is?

Proposal Cycle: Proposals take place every 10 turns (14 turns on Epic). There are 4 proposals scheduled between each Resident Election so that means a new election is held every 50 turns; however, this interval can be greatly diminished if there are no possible proposals on the turn that a proposal is scheduled to be made. If this is the case then the next scheduled proposal is moved forward to next turn (instead of 10 turns away) - if that proposal is an election then a new election is held.

Can you explain how one would go about and have no proposals?

I can play 4 more turns tomorrow and leave it to a new player.

Can you explain how one would go about and have no proposals?

No sure I understand the question exactly, but each proposal requires certain conditions to be available. If none of the prerequisites are met, no proposals are available.

For example, Holy War condition:
One Full Member must be at war with X and at least one Non-Vassal Full Member must not be at war with X, and X must be a Non-Vassal Non-Member.

Here is a nice page of info on the AP.

My travel this week got cancelled, so am available. Travel again next week, but just two days so should be ok. I'll need instructions, though.:crazyeye:

I had a pretty bad headache yesterday but I can play tonight and leave it to the next player. Shall I start the AP, and we might have a chance of finishing it at a good time?
