We MUST keep Ning for the teleport anchor.
We attack the city with MobilityKnight at 99.9%, or whatever, and survive.

Because we're at war with KK, when we DoW, we will teleport 3 tiles! to NewSarai-2e2s. The perfect/only spot where our MobilityKnight (and only our MobilityKnight) has the ability to attack from next turn thru the forest tile :thumbsup:

The teleport score for that tile is 9.5.
Right. The only caveat is if NW-2e2s is still covered with KK culture, in which case our knight would go to Ning-1w, which is why I said keep teh worker there for now in case we want hi to road Ning-w next turn. Then, if the KK culture at NS-2s2e has vanished, he can still attack NS.
 
For the record, if Stalin kills one of our units, he'll still talk in 1t if we accumulate 160 WarSuccess. :)

If he has 14 WarSuccess, we only need 480 WS to get him to talk in 1t.

oh, no. I didn't look at a 4 tile teleport to Ning-1w. The score on that tile is 9.0. So he'll teleport there no matter what.
I don't trust myself on teleports. I'm often surprised where they end up.

In this case, our unit will be on top of Russian units. That might affect the teleport? Test anyone?
or should I just road ning-1w? No, cant'. only 1 worker... Are roads 1t with Steam? Yes they are!
That means we actually have a bunch of partial roads that did not need to be partially roaded :blush:
i.e. they moved to the hills 1t before they had to.

I think 9.5 rounds down to 9 and so the NS-2e2s will get checked first and win, if culture free.

In any case, I don't understand how our unit would be on top of Russian units.

Edit: Oh you mean starting on top of them? Normal teleprot rules, I think.
 
Stalin.. close borders before DoW. good reminder. I know you wrote that once already, but I would have forgotten. Since it's 99.999% likely to have no effect, I didn't store that. I still might forget to do it :old:

I don't think so. 1t with Steam and Serfdom. Roads are 2 points, right. Steam is only +50%.

But that road at Ning-w is already partially roaded.

ah, partial road. Convenient.
So roads are 2t.
I hoped maybe just being normal speed brought them down to 1.5 without Steam, then down to 1.0. Wishful thinking.
That screws with my plan a bit...

I was hoping to just not kill it, ever, and block it from entering Baghdad.
But then we need to give Medina to Church
But then we need to recapture Medina.
I think I can do that with any knight that survives attacking from Baghdad-SW (as long as I road there.) A unit can attack and then capture an empty city, yes?
But can't reach Medina if the chariot doesn't move.
Or, if I had a 2nd road on the desert.

Maybe a worker sacrifice would guarantee the chariot moves?
 
see screenshot in report. Worker on sugar didn't road. And there is only 1 worker.
With such success at Nanjing, we have 4 units (including the healer) that can get around Nanjing.
Anyone see any other options to get more units just in case?
 
After MM, we are over 2000 final-bpt :) (1700 raw bpt)
at 225 AD.
And that is with NO starving...and NO golden age!...and we have enough money to pay for it. (-550gpt)
 
We can actually get RR with only 2 GM bulbs. (1608 each)
Use the 3rd ?
It's in Hamburg. Trade mission this turn? why?
