SGOTM 9 - klarius

I give it to you, klarius :goodjob:
though we did have some initial discrepancies, it all worked out well. you even abandoned my nice first town I founded

What about the next SGOTM? I would only be interested if there was still some good competition around. Thoughts?

Winning is always sweet :) , even when luck is a big part of the game :D

I would be around for next sgotm, given that the proposed variant looks attractive as well.

I'll play the next sgotm if i like the variant and if i see that there is some good competition.

I'd hope to participate, unless my next period of unavailability to play proves to be a problem.

klarius, are you going to submit a write-up of our game since Alan has opened that thread?

ok, someone needs to write up the report, so I will do it then in the next few days.

Well done, folks :goodjob:

Any chance of this team taking me under its wings in the next game? I am a decent C3C demi-god to deity player, although I have little to show for myself (GOTM submissions, succession games) as I started playing after the release of C3C and found Civfanatics even later. I do admire your grasp of the game though and hope to learn. In return I could help you out with your chemistry homework ;)

Thanks for your interest. I suppose it'll be a question of whether there's a vacancy on the team, but usually there is.

That would be great NP :) I'll stick around to see if you'll have me for sure.

SGOTM10 sign-up has started. Are you guys going to play? I would be glad to play in this team again. But maybe we need to split our magnificent team to make things more interesting? (It looks like Wacken and many other good players from his team won't be around anymore).

S4OTM1 has also started. If any of you has civ4 we could make a team a S4OTM team too.

Obormot, I would be interested SGOTM9, but don't know whether there is enough interest.

As for the Civ4 SGOTM1, I have asked Greebley and knupp to join a team, but I think we would welcome you in case you are interested.

With Wacken gone, splitting you guys up might be the right thing to do. Please let me know if you're willing to accommodate me.

I would like to play both sgotm10 and sgotm1 for civ IV.

Ronald

Yes on SGOTM 10, no on CIV. Wacken is not totally gone, there are still a few of them wanting to play. If they can recruit a few others they'll still have a good team.

Another option is to split us up into teams of 4 if we add another and the probables are in... And let those two teams scramble for a fifth. Or keep us as we were. I would just like to see some good competition; it will help that we are all playing C3C now. We never had to worry about Smurkz et al before.

Shouldn't be a problem to get at least 3 5-membered teams with a shot at the laurel together.

I noticed Tim Bentley signed up, I don't know much about him but my teammates over at the MTDG think highly of him. His persona came up for review as he is in an opposing team.

Yes, I'd like to play on this team again in SGOTM10.

Well, I'm also in for SGOTM10. I'm currently on a business trip in US and don't have much time to think about it. So could somebody else pleaselead the discussion and then sign up 1 or 2 teams.
