1450 AD
MM’ed in the North for workers, settlers and to finish up other builds for more workers and settlers. Core is MM’ed well. Pulled back research to increase overall income for rushing.
IBT: Ragnar wants to trade world maps. I give him 2g for his.
Japanese land a LB. I quake in my boots.
Nanking, market – worker (utterly corrupt, MM’ed w/ 6 scientists)
WKB, TOW– TOW
Idiot Academy, Bank – Stock Exchange (Don’t hire specialists here!)
WFC, TOW- TOW
Pearlton, marine – TOW
Lawn Guy, TOW– TOW
Delphi, library – worker
Dorothy, worker – worker (hire cops)
TR McCoy, worker - worker (utterly corrupt, cops no help, hire scientists)
Tundrastic, settler – worker (funny name, first I’ve noticed it.)
1455 AD
First things first… Chinan. The first TOW loses 3hp from the defending spear.

The second TOW takes the city and puts an end to Mao.
I’m re-basing Washington w/ the thought of sending him to the Japanese mainland. Saving him for Lizzy will cost us too many GL opportunities at this point. (This changes later)
Found Pittsburgh on the southern Japanese tundra (oil) island.
Japanese LB killed w/ TOW.
Moving helo’s to positions to jump to spice island and Japanese mainland.
Short rush a TOW in Pseudo (vis Cav) since we only had one other unit coming in next turn.
IBT:
Japanese drop off four cavalry on “Bodo” Island.
Beijing, police - tank (Not a bad city now. 12spt)
Not Athens, worker – worker in 2 turns (hiring cops again)
WST, TOW – TOW
Pseudo, TOW – TOW
Herakleia, worker – worker
Lost our supply of wool.
Mine three irrigated tiles around Beijing and hire two cops for 17spt.
1460 AD
Sink three of four Japanese ships w/ arty, bomber and a fighter.
Rush a worker out of Tiensin.
Lift in 6 TOW’s just west of Anyang.
We take Bodo at the cost of a TOW and kill the four cavalry.
We destroy Tomso.
MM Pseudo for 30spt w/ a tile from Idiot Color.
IBT:
Chicago Cut, bomber – bomber
Tientsin, worker - worker
1465 AD
Tientsin gets an airfield.
Bomber kills a wounded Japanese frigate.
Bombers hit Anyang and three TOWs take the city w/ a harbor and barracks.
We take Shiminoseki. This is a nice jump site to the Japanese mainland.
IBT: OK, recoding all the builds is getting tedious.
1470 AD
Sink an ironclad.
We buy wool back from Caesar in the event that WW begins to set in.
1475 AD
Short rushed a number of units destined for Spice Island.
Killed off a few rifles dropped off by Chinan.
1480 AD
We take Matsuyama and have added spices to our kinkdom.
Brits have a heavily escorted galleon in our waters. This doesn’t look good. Must remember to sign up Alex to an MPP.
Fort the arty in Delphi.
IBT: Lizzy cancels our wines for 30gpt deal. Ok, we sell it back for 495g in the event she gets frisky.
And then, um… she drops off three (3) TOW next to Mycenae. Time to talk to Alex.
1485 AD
Moving units around.
Make MPP w/ Alex.
IBT: Alex declares on the Japanese.

And the English have declared war on us, therefore, the Greeks declare on the English. Doh! Time to destroy Cambridge.
1490 AD
We take Sopporo.
Scientists MM’ed for Ecology in 1.
IBT: Japan would like to talk. I’ll wait until WW is sucking to ruin our rep.
Rome and England have signed an alliance against Greece!
Ecology to Fission.
1495 AD
OK, now the fun begins. I give Caesar gems and he declares on Elisabeth.
Lay down some airfields and shift forces to a nice jump point to England. Washington, settler and a worker or two in the mix.
Short rush a few more TOWs.
We hop 3 TOW’s from Chinan towards Cambridge. They still have a bit of a trek
IBT: Scandinavia signs up w/ England vs. Rome.
We lost silks and furs from Rome but the people are quite happy about the war.
1500 AD
TOW’s move another tile towards Cambridge.
OK, we drop
15 TOW’s, Washington, a settler and a worker on the English main continent. Then we bomb out at least one railed road to our tile and go after the other but just manage to bruise an infantry. The hope here was to increase the possibility of survival for the settler and the worker/airfield. If Lizzy has half a brain she'll throw the kitchen sink at that stack.
There are five TOW’s sitting on airfields waiting for the next leader.
War happiness doesn't seem to run too long. Keep an eye out for the need of luxes from Caesar.
And finally, the current state of diplomacy.
