I only played 10 turns and I have to post quickly we're under a tornado warning and the bad cell is only about 10 miles away. This is part of the front edge of Wilma which did not listen to the weather people who said it would be a Cat 1 as it hit. It's now up to a Cat 3. Going to be a rough night and morning here.

Neither JPN or ROM has researched an IA tech yet, we can research Nationalism in 5 turns at 80% at +152gpt so I turn science back on

decide to spend an extra 1000 gold and sign JPN to MA vrs VIK, I had to throw in gems and saltpeter to seal the deal - maybe the extra pressure on the VIK will be helpful

Arrange cities by science output and set 10 cities to libraries (all will complete is less than 10 turns, I'll rush 1 next turn in our strongest science city that was on wealth) this took our gpt down to 149

We only have 1 cav in Tarentum so I'll wait a few turns before declaring on ROM or JPN since there is a JPN structure which floats on water near the city

Adjust cities for happiness and resistence - up to 166gpt now

How many more turns do we need until ESP? What about a CIA prebuild?

I was able to post the save last night and somehow squeaked in the thread post before the forum upgrade. Sorry for not posting a hand-off report I was afraid I was about to lose internet connection and/or power last night.

Turns are pretty quick right now as no one will talk to us. I have us researching at max speed to espionage and have started a RR campaign on our mainland.

There is a prebuild in Washington for the Intelligence Agency, need to check it's timing to make sure it doesn't complete too early. I was thinking we could use the GL for Un.Suff or if we really need to research to Adv Flight we may want to save it for TOE.

The collision of the cold front and the outer edges of Wilma last night was bad. Heavy rain, lightning, winds and tornado warnings for our area. We've had over 8 inches of rain so far and we are now into the worst part of Wilma for our area. So far we're weathering the storm, just need to make it a few more hours.
 
Btw: the MGL came on my turn set and sat in Scandinavia, outside Oslo last time I looked...
 
Sherman is still in the same spot, just outside the city incase of a flip.

BTW, they are still flying into OIA today so I have to make an airport trip in a few hours. The winds are dying down so it shouldn't be too bad of a trip. Disney is closed but the airplanes are still flying, go figure.
 
My vote would be to build the CIA by hand, as it appears we have a good pre-build going. If we manage to get a city on the mainland through espionage, it would be good to be able to build Universal Suffrage to keep WW from reducing our income.

As it ends for you, it looks like it'll begin for me. They are forecasting that Wilma's remains will be here tomorrow, along with 50 to 60 MPH winds. Who needs a plane when you could ride Wilma!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Prebuild is almost perfectly timed, just one turn late to ESP. Leader for UNISUFF became part of my plan too. :thumbsup: I'd select New San Diego (I think it is) for it.

I thought I had it pretty close, I wonder if some more RR might drop that last turn? Just remember to change the build using TBP.

Hopefully the VIK will be ready to talk soon. The Capt declared on them in his turnset, so they should be ready to talk anytime.
