Citizens of Shailnegha. Please post any suggestions you may have for our fine city in this Thread
 
I hope I don't get in trouble for posting here since I'm not a citizen of Shailonegha.:)
I do have a suggestion concerning your great city though. If we work a hill tile rather than the grassland tile Shailonegha will net 5 shields per turn rather than 4 and be able to produce warriors at the rate of 1 every two turns. It just so happens that our gold surplus is such that we make enough gold to upgrade a warrior every two turns... makes me feel all warm anf tingly inside when things work out that way.;)

There's also talk of hooking up Shailonegha's incense to the rest of the empire. I would point out that doing so would also hook Shailonegha up to our iron source making it ineligible to produce warriors. Perhaps we should leave it unconnected for the duration of the Golden Age?
 
This thread is not limited to citizens, I'll take suggestions, esp. productive ones no matter where they come from. I thank you for your suggestions donsig, and I agree with both of them.

Growth in Shailnegha isn't too important at the moment, but production is. And, with donsig's calculations, it's almost to good to be true. We shall be a great Immortal factory with 2 warriors per turn. However, I think we may want to get a spearman in garrison before we go all out warriors. Miami makes me think we might be the target for an attack.
 
Yes, a spearman is needed but could it be made elsewhere and transferred so as not to halt warrior production? Can you check on that Falcon02 since you are military deputy?
 
The way I see it we have 2 choices.

1. Build a spearman in Shailnegha and then get to warriors. (spearman would take 4 more turns)

2. Upgrade a warrior to an Immortal and use the Immortal as a garrison until Eyr or maybe Khatovar can provide a spearman for Shailnegha (since it's first spearman will likely go to Fox Nest).

If we wait for Khatovar (assuming the current spearman goes to Fox Nest) it will take 12 turns. Eyr would be longer 11 + travel time (if we wait for barracks, which I feel is important).

Of course this is all assuming that we go with my plan.

for clarity this is where I would like to redistribute the one worker, to allow for production of warriors every two turns.
 
I am a bit troubled by the lack of a navy in our nation, mainly because a raiding vessel ahs been spotted near our coasts!!:(
