Ship moved from open ocean to stuck in closed sea

So I switched from the antiquaty age to the exploration age and now this ship is stuck there because the game decided that my capital should be moved to Guanling including the boat should move there. Is there a way to get it out there or delete since it is litterally useless in there. Also is there a way to make your boat no spawn in closed off sea?

You now have a coast guard lol. Units are cheap just replace it.

Happened to me too; fortunately there was a navigable river to the sea. (Though I had to fight a war to get access to it.)

Highly promoted Commanders aren't quite so easy to replace.
