I have found that there are some ships that stink in certin fields like speed and guns. the ship of the line is the best in all fields. I have never seen one has any one else? tell me about it and what era and where

War canoe, all eras, all fields.
A trick to catch, but properly outfitted it is the sports car of the Carribbeaaan.

Super fast, agile and able to carry enough pirates to make Montalban cringe.

best of all clases of war vessels, and how to get them

mail runner: say u will escort an ultimatum or peace treaty, and the ship will usually be a mail runner
royal sloop: sometimes will be used as pirate hunters
Brig of war: best in my opinion, found randomly(but one of the famous pirates
has it) Usually a military payroll or troop transport.
SoL: ship of the line, get a non-spanish nation pissed with u by attacking their shipping like crazy. it is a "new warship"
