[LP] Should I start an All Leader Challenge?

Should I start a Civ 6 ALC in an effort to "get good?"

  • Yes, and I know I'd read and follow it, though I don't know how much I'd add.

  • No, because this will actually not help make you a better player, or help you enjoy the game.

  • I'm not really interested either way.

So, I'm a long time fan of Civilization, but for various reasons have only recently been able to really play Civ 6. My first run with Pericles convinced me I needed to work to "get good."

My favorite piece of Civilization fan-content ever was Sisiutil's Civ4 All Leaders Challenge. He initially started that in an effort to get good, and I think I might benefit from the same.

That said, it was a relic of a time before streaming and video-content, so maybe there just isn't the interest anymore.

Would there be any interest in my doing so? I'd start at Prince and work my way up.

Poll is open for 4 days, and comments welcome.

So the poll closed. It had 155 views, but I assume at least 20 of those were me checking in on results. There were 4 "yes" responses, one of which indicated a desire to contribute/advise. It's not a ton of people, but it's enough to think about.

I'll probably try doing at least one of these. I'm not sure if it should remain here under Civ6 - Strategy & Tips, or if it should move to Civ6 - Stories & Let's Plays. The ALC was in the former section for Civ4, but I don't think Civ6 had the latter. Let me know what you think.

Either way, I will post here when I start. This will occur within a week or so if I can get my remote play operating correctly, or maybe 2 if I can't and need to wait. Watch this thread if you want notification of when that initial post goes live.

Thanks to all who participated and showed interest. Looking forward to getting underway.
