Ah I see, apparently "we" don't spam enough.

I do beleve that we should not have the post count hidded. To me, a Post count is an indication of how long the persion has been around (Other than the date joined)

Yes, and also untrue. I just checked and maybe one or two posters on the previous page don't post any more. Goober, believe it or not, many people registered here over a year ago and *still* post.

No, no, I know that. Heck, people have been here since 2000, and still post, I am just saying that this poll is an old one that I found, and unburied. I wasn't allowed to start a new poll, so I dug this one up. I am just saying I would have preferred to start a new poll. Also, I bet there are more then 1-2 people who voted in this poll, did not post in this thread, and yet never visit this website anymore. To make a long ramble a bit shorter, i just want to start a nice, new, shiny, fresh poll. I can see the "new wave" of posters posting in this thread, but I also see them putting their vote in a poll that is old . . .

I still consider anyone from 2000/2001 "Old School". Maybe the older '02's?

I agree with CivGeneral, for a new member of any forum, the post count can indicate at a glance what to expect from another poster.

Also, I think the maturity level of the vast majority is above rank-comparisons.

In short, a poster should not set too much stock in his own PC.

A series of milestones is the way I regard it.

Only posting in Site Feedback for now then?

I still want to see post count, if everyone is so mature then why does it need to be hidden? isn't it just another piece of information like the registration date that people may want to glance at occasionally?

What I meant was that most people I have seen in sites do not use PC as a way to boost prestige.

I agree with Curt and Dell!

BTW, I think a new poll would be pointless.

and Dell...and of course TF, but that was quite obvious. There are a few more hanging around too.

As for post counts, I believe they should be displayed only for the fact that I see no harm in them being displayed. I've been here quite a while, and I have yet to see half of the spamming that goes on at other forums. So I don't think showing post counts is really a problem one way or the other.

Ohh, and Munzy is 2000 also. But Silverflame is from 2002 . . .

@ Moss321: Hang out in OT more, you shall see the spammage . . .
