Should we have a "bar"

On a few sites I have visited they have a "bar" that is only accessible to people over a certain age. In the bar all topics are open to discussion, and all language is acceptable. as are all pictures. I am not sure how I feel about this, and rarely visit the "bar" on other sites, but I do know that there have been some things that seem pretty darned funny that have had to be edited. I am not complaining about that, by the way, and respect the idea of rules and decency(although I will confess, I have made a few errors in judgement). Just interested in the discussion that might follow.

How are you going to enforce the age limits rule? How to ascertain who's over-aged , and who's under? Kind of difficult since we can chged our birthdates freely I think....

I like this idea. You put a consent button. Of course underagers come in but it is no longer TF's responsibility. And we make Rodgers the moderator!!!

I think thats about as useful as putting some of those no-post logins as moderator. j/k Rodgers. I doubt that "bar" would be moderated, except maybe for flaming.

I doubt there is any easy way to verify a user's age, so I doubt this will become a reality. Not a bad idea, however.

Can I ever hope to see:

Multiple buddy lists?

There are lots of times I want to PM a certain sized group of people and not everyone on my list. Compartmentalizing it would help create "alternative" ways of communicating messages... not a "Bar", but a quiet booth in the corner...

Finally a response! Yes I like farts. In this case the gorilla fart 2 is a shot of goldshlager mixed with a shot of jaegermeister.

Found it on the internet when I was looking up goldshlager to find out if the bits of gold foil would make me sick.

I think the name has more to do on the long after effects rather than the taste/consistency.

Keep on mixing...

Where I work now, I dont make too many shots anymore.

However, your "gorilla fart" is called something else around here.
