I’m not sure if it truly is a bug.
(I haven’t played many FFH2 games until yet)

In my current game the Sidar receive an additional hammer on each tile with at least one hammer.
They are not using the arête civic.
Currently they are members of the Empyrean.

Do they use any special option, is it a race ability or anything comparable?

Additional Question.

Does someone how participates the “Fellowship of Leaves“ and later changes his religion, truly keeps the old woods which are grown in his territory? (In my mind, they are providing an additional food on their tile to someone, how is not any longer qualified to receive this bonus)
In my current game the Sidar also do so.

Thanks for your help

Ancient Forests provide their extra food to anyone -- they just won't turn Ancient in anyone's lands who aren't FoL. They don't revert, to the best of my knowledge.

As for your Sidar extra hammers, I strongly suspect they are in a golden age. Look back through the game log.

Not that I know of, perhaps a Golden Age though?

Yes, the ancient forests remain. To be honest though, ancient forests aren't that great unless you're elven, or you have SERIOUS health issues. +1:food: and +1:hammers: is decent, but you lose out on the +1:commerce: from rivers if it's next to one, and at sanitation farms give +2:food:. Also, you can't build lumbermills in them. I do like to keep any FoL priests I have though, bloom is useful.

Sidar hammer bonus - they are Industrious. Could it be that Industrious is coded like Financial (bonus gold if tile yields over x gold) in FfH?

Ancient Forests - a neat use of this if you have the patience is to build lumbermills in all your forest tiles first, then switch to Ancient Forests. The AFs will grow on lumbermill tiles even though you cannot build a lumbermill on an AF. This is a pretty sweet setup but it difficult to fix if someone comes pillaging.
If you have a lot of patience and druids first bloom forests everywhere, then build the LMs then switch to FoL.

Grunthex is correct in that you keep all AF boni after switching to a different religion and the forests do not switch back.

industrious only increases the total hammer yield (shown in city manager) when building a wonder, it has nothing to do with tile yield. He's eighter running Arete (+1 hammers from mines) or in a golden age.

Thanks a lot, for your quick help.

In fact the Sidar just had a golden age,
(My dear, industrious Civ's are real wonder- spamers during golden ages.
The Sidar completed about 3 wonders until it's end (with altogether only 5 City's). That nearly drove me to despair)

The ancient woods issue.
Year, it's more a design question, but they are still better than common woods, therefor it won't be a bad decision the join the “Fellowship” until you have discovered your own religion/joined an other one.
