Sidar Feedback

I personally don't see why Sidar don't have Shadow mana. "We have passed through your lands invisibly many times" natch? I dont think so. More like " You did well to see us, we were practicing how to cast Haste".

The music for Sidar really could use some upgrades. They're not cultureless or anything. I'd have thought they would have some very old-timey sounding music boxish sound.. like the black dress scene in Labyrinth...

That seems far more appropriate to a civilization of shades than the variation of the halo 2 building-wail that serves as current)

That was Legend my friend. Labyrinth is another movie entirely and both are in my collection. :D

Yes Legend. I thought I typed that, must have crossed two thoughts together.

if my version of Recordpad wasnt expired I'd try recording that tune from the video and setting it up for sidar..

Would it also pay off for the Sidar to use agriculture, caste system and sacrifice the weak?

For an headstart sure. But remember: any SE economy will run into the "GP cost to much GPP" point problem. Once you get there you should switch to a more CE oriented economy and get your GP from shades.

Still seems to me that a mechanic based on combat EXP doesnt fit for a society of quasi-undead pacifist bookworm ghosts.

You have to train arcane or divine units that gain XP without any combat. I always train a lot of priest, mages and druids to sacrifice in order to gain a GP. I would be crazy if I sacrifice my six level units or my hero!
