Silly Custom Map Creation Question. Please help

Hi Guys,

I have a silly question . Is there an out of game map editor for civ 3 like the Civ 3 one??? the one i found in Civ4 is like cheating , and is not as good at all , and its put me off the game, and haven't played it for months now.

I really want to play multiplayer, but create my own map... but can't find it! and its not on the main menu

Any help would be great thanks

I had the same problem. You can only edit maps already on the game after you've started a game on it. The only i could get a map with the civs i wanted on was to go on custom game as you cannot add teams once in world builder. If you want different map dimensions you have to edit some notepad files in your civ folder. It's a bit of a pain :-/
