can you take over a city with a spy like we can do it with an engineer...

When the gvt falls is there something i can do to restore it faster...the Anarchy sometimes last 10 turns...

Caserne...It seems to me they are good until the end of the game to restore land units in 1 turn( but not for veterans units) but still WHY DO THE HECK THE A.I. SELL THEM FOR ME AND TAKE THE DECISION FOR ME WHEN I DISCOVER THE TECH that put them obsolete....???? I have to reconstruct them all!!!

Barracks... The idea is that a certain discovery makes exsisiting barracks obsolete... For example, barracks that work for Knights and Crusaders are useless for Musketeers... So, you would have to rebuild them anyways, thus the computer sells them automatically.

Somewhere on the strategy boards (I forget where) is a chart that lists the various years where anarchy becomes a government. If you voluntarily declare revolution, do it right before one of the specific years (they are the SAME for every game on a specific level - i.e. king). If your gov't collapses, well, then, you're on your own.

if you don't want to keep reconstructing your barracks over and over again, just build Sun Tzu's academy of war, all units will be veteran unitl mobile warfare.

Here ya go.

Ok yeah but I dont have the Sun Tzu!!! and after Mobile Warfare I still want to repair my tank in one turn what do I do???

Ok if you destroy an Aqueduc with a spy when the city population is like 13-14 (higher than 8) what happen does the pop. decrease...??? does it make any trouble in that city???

Well build the barracks again.

What happens when you destroy an aqueduct is they are not able to grow anymore in that city untill they build the aqueduct again. Nothing else happens.

First of all a spy can take over a city by bribing it yes, but an engineer cannot, save for the sole purpose of marching into an undefended city I believe.

Barracks, as I believe you meant, become obselete as technique progresses. We really can't have our marine soldiers training with a shield and lance now can we..? And to avoid the issue go for Feudalism and then build Sun Tzu's War Academy, which adresses the problem of veternship up until Mobile Warfare. But it does not help repair units though. After Mobile Warfare you will simply have to build barracks where you need/want them. But by that time factories and whatnot should make that a minor problem.

Anarchy is best left to be dealt with by Lady Liberty...

As for Aqueducts or Sewer Systems, no, the city does not shrink in size. But it's growth is frozen until it rebuilds the structure. Add to that a few besieging troopers hampering and/or pillaging all the farms and you can starve a city. Now why you'd want to do that instead of seizing it is beyond me, but still...

Cheers!

sometimes at the end and there is no more enemy unit in an ennemy city the only unit available for me is a spy but if I go in the city I dont take that city but get the spy menu
-establish amb.
-sabotage
-bribe the city
-etc

if I click bribe the price is still high for a city without any unit inside...so I guess we cannot...

A caravan, freight, diplomat, and spy cannot capture a city at any time, even if the city is unoccupied. However, an unoccupied city will cut the bribe cost in half.

In Civ II, anarchy lasts for three turns at most. It cannot last for 10 turns. BTW, there is a pattern, which was discovered by Oedo, and hence called "Oedo Years". Search for "oedo" and you should find all the info on it.
