simple waypoint question

Triple R nailed it. Also, you can remove all waypoints by selecting all cities and then right-clicking on any of them that are selected.

For some reason I can't seem to select all cities and create waypoints for all at once, or remove waypoints for all at once. I followed your instructions in the speed civving thread, but for some reason it doesn't work for me.

You have to un-select the city you'd set the waypoint target location, otherwise trying to put a waypoint there will just cancel all waypoints instead.

Edit: My youtube walkthroughs both include mass waypoints, although I forget which segments.

Do you have an idea of how many people actually looked at your youtube civ games?
I started, but got bored and started playing my own game:mischief:

Yes, I can see exact counts of how many people view each segment, actually ;). It's understandable that viewership drops off after the first couple...but people actually do watch all of it, you know :). It wasn't really intended for knowledgeable players who have been here before I even played my first settler game anyway .

So how many views (complete) ?

The first one has 394 views on the final segment...

The second one has 172 views on the final segment...

I have 14,631 total video views as of this post. Nothing compared to the popular let's play people, but still hundreds of people have watched at least one of the two start to finish.

IMO they're not going to teach super veterans how to beat deity, but really anyone below that should be able to pick up at least a few things, if only the things that speed up play.

Unfortunately, I can't do more for a while since my laptop video card burned out.

@ TMIT-

I watched it all the way through over the past 2 days. You play amazingly fast, and I learned a few skills to help me play more quickly. :goodjob:

I'm glad how it turned out and that people find it useful. Before I did the first one I definitely had my doubts, but went ahead with it anyway just because the typical constraint to making such a video is the time civ takes to play...I had a major advantage in that regard even though I'm quite far from being among the best players here.
