was a close call but i made it. next time i try aggressive barbarians
there are 4 more stacks outside of the screen.

You survived that with two warriors? Wow!

I don't know if it's different without Raging Barbs, but I find skeletons always beeline for a city, regardless of boundaries. The lizardmen, on the other hand, are opportunistic jerks that wait in the wilderness

I had my other cities abandoned and hurried the garrisons south. i also had a lightbringer carrying orthos axe (he spawned directly near my capital, can you imagine this?), he had to come from india (its the earth18 scenario map) but came just before my city would have been crushed.
i lost 5 warriors and had a total of ~300xp divided onto the surviving. Handy for the next war
