Slow GOTM?

15 seconds really isn't that much to me considering I logged 77 hours according to the last GOTM.

I didn't play GOTM17... but I would say 21 seems a bit faster than 18 was... so maybe we are getting more game for less delay, bearing in mind map size and no. of opponents.

So I for one am happy, even with a lame 500MHz PC with 128Mb of RAM. I'm sure some players have slower systems again.

Time to write up my QSC... it's not pretty reading... as usual.

I did a marathon last night and got to 900 BC. It was a little bit slow during the first dozen turns but everything did speed up nicely after that. No problem there!:) Btw, I got a dual PIII 1GHz - an obsolete system according to today standard.

I just downloaded my first GOTM - ( This month -Greeks)
Anyways, after my turn it seems to take a long..long time for the A.I. to do it's thing.
Way longer then I'm use to!
This have something to do with the MOD or is it just me?

Thanks
Lexx the Newbie ;-)

hah i got a pentuim 3 600 mhz, my things ancient and its only from 2000.

You think that's ancient??
I have a PII 266 with nowadays 98MB RAM (formerly 32...)
And I didn't even found the time between turns disturbing as I am used to longer. ;)

I think from 1000 BC seeing yours is ancient :p
(actually it is 1998)
