Small Fonts ???

I recently bought Civ 3 and got home eager to install it, i put the disc in and it checks compatability and comes up with a message saying that small fonts are not selected and a shortcut to the display settings, i have been through the display menus with a fine tooth come and nowhere do i have any option for small fonts
