Why do the Germans reffer to themselves as being industrious if they are only militaristic and scientific?

Because the former is just conversation, and the latter are game rules.

Australia refers to itself as alternatively "the lucky country" or "the sunburnt country" in various places, but neither attributes made it into the game, let alone Australia!
