NO need to be Rude! This is a American Game. So it makes sense that American holidays fall with in scheduling people and their work days. It will affect the releases of just about anything.

Exactly. The least they should do is officially acknowledge the problems, and tell us which problems they are working to fix with the next patch. I can't believe they haven't mentioned anything about a patch, even if they don't yet know when it will be released.

I don't get this idiotic closed door system where the company just sits hidden and pushes a patch out of the door now an then. And these people even claim to have a "blog" on their website... oh please!

After a series of mistakes, they raised the drawbridges and release patches when they are ready and give no pre annoucement as the loss of image from not responding is lesser than the potential loss of image of releasing bad or late patches.

It's the state of the game business today. Can you do better?

probably true. still sucks though.
It will be nice when I can get through a single turn of Civ4 without my computer going through convulsions. I swear, the only way to shut down when the damn game crashes is to chant "the power of christ compells you!" and press the power button with the tip of a crucifix.

I'm thinking someone actually did that. Just finished up with two hours of Dell customer service and apparently my video card has "gone bad," like an old piece of fruit or something.

Whatever, at least they're replacing it for free and its certainly nice to know that I, for one, may have found a solution. Civ4 in 3-5 business days!

That voice is just the wrong one for the job imho. I find it irritating.
