Rumor is, it was seen in Time Square New Year's Eve with Chris Isaak and his drummer. Next Thursday, its a guest on the Jay Leno Show. Seriously, I'm not kidding!
I was in a gas station about to pay the attendant and I looked outside and swear I saw the Editor in a pink Cadillac with Elvis, but they sped off before I could run outside and be sure (I had to wait and pay for the Twinkies after all).
frunobulax---those last two posts are hysterical!!!! I didn't think that the milk carton comment could be topped.
It's nice to see that a sense of humor is being maintained.

From my perspective, the only thing wrong with VPC is that it doesn't work at all! Never been able to understand it - I do exactly the same things other people do to make it work, but it doesn't work.
Heh, worked fine for me, virtually right away (no pun intended). All I did was borrow a copy of Win 98 SE from one of THEM, installed it (took a while), and it worked. I'm using OS X now, but I installed it under 9, and it still works as it did then. Make sure you have the latest patch ().
Anyway, I reallly can't wait to get started on some maps... Have had some idea's, although I can't think of em off the top of my head... Hopefully, 1.29 will not take too long to get out as well, as that fixed some things that were wrong with civ/editor, such as adding luxuries, among other things.
Was I imagining things when I thought the Mac editor would bring us up to 1.29 level? Will we need another patch after the editor to be able to load PC-generated games? My obsession is still GOTM, until PTW for Mac comes out that is...
