Solution to slow/jerking/lagging Videos

I had this one problem. the intro, wonder videos are slow & lagging

the solution is

Install patch 1.52 and then
Again install patch 1.52. I cant explain how it worked. Did for me
twice!

I have the same problem, but reinstalling 1.52 did not help

Firstly upgrade the nvidia drivers, but I doubt it will solve the video problem. The link is here, http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_81.98.html. Not familiar with that nvidia card so I don't know if it's the right driver for you, have a look anyway. I also have the same problem with the videos even with the latest drivers, the patch made them worse too on this machine. They will play fine outside the game, in a standalone player. If you still have problems repost. I've got my new graphics card but still have to install it so perhaps it might solve it. Fingers crossed...
