Hey there folks I have been playing for ahwhile now and I have come up with some specific questions.

#1 Exactly how many tiles away does your Palace prevent corruption.
#2 exactly what kinds of corruption does it stop and how much does it reduce its effects.
#3 Does the Forbidden Palace have the exact same effects as your primary palace or is it less so.

Seperate set of questions on AI behavior

#1 how does the AI decide what advances to research. Is it dynamic where if its attacked it will go for more military advances or will it simply try to finish out the Era as quickly as possible and build any wonders and units it can along the way.

#2 How does the AI calculate whether you outnumber it or not does it calculate on a shield basis of units and does it count all units which cost shields (IE Navy and Air units, Workers, Settlers, Scouts)

Any and all help is greatly appreciated thanks folks :)

Corruption
#1 and #2 There are some great threads on corruption out there. Try out Bamspeedy's at

and alexman's at

#3 In terms of corruption, the effects are the same.

AI behavior
#1 I don't have a definite answer on this one but I know Soren (the developer who wrote the AI) assigned priority levels to each tech. If these levels can fluctuate somehow, I don't know.

#2 It used to be a pure numbers game. If it was 2000AD and you had 500 warriors, the AI would view you as 'strong'. Workers counted as units too. I don't know how exactly, but I know that this AI strength determination was updated for PtW to take into account factors such as strength, defense, etc.
