hello everyone, i just returned from my vacation back into some modding action:lol::rolleyes::mischief:!!!

so i have to admit, i'm a huge punk fan and i always loved alternate history, so here are some punks i think could easily make the mod way more interesting:

stonepunk- a alternate stone age, think of the flintstones or the novel "The Clan of the Cave Bear" or the tv show "Land of the Lost" also the book "The Land That Time Forgot" fits into that catagory.

bronzepunk- alternate history concerning bronze age civs, look at Mary Renault novels for examples and some even claim that the movie 300 is bronzepunk too.

ironpunk(also known as sandalpunk)-the same as bronzepunk but with iron instead, unfortunatly i couldn't find any books about it

middlepunk(also known as candlepunk or plaguepunk)- very similar to clockpunk, the only example i found is the novel the "Doomsday Book" by Connie Willis.

crusadepunk-like middlepunk, but in the crusades era, haven't found any content of it :(

vikingpunk-this sound really cool in my opinion!!! basically alternate history of viking exploration(like vikings colinizing north america)

piratepunk- basically alternate history of the pirate era, the only example i can think of i the pirates of the carribean films.

Transistorpunk- basically altenate history of the cold war, there are too many examples but my favorite is red alert 2.

Spacepunk- this should be interesting a combination , similar content i found were from the novels "Swords and Space" and "dune" also tv shows like star trek and battlestar galactica.

so that's what i found so far, if you happen to find more punks or content about existing punks, i would be glad if you would tell me what you found.;)

Alt-Timelines are way low down on our list of priorities for the near future, but some of those ideas (piratepunk!) look cool for a long-term Alt-timeline.

The Viking settlement of North America could be quite easily incorporated, however. A colonial culture with Cultere (Viking) and Native Culture (American) as prereq would be enough. The trouble is coming up with a unit and a name for the cultere itself. Vinlandic mayne?
