Hello,
I am playing civ 2, but i really don't know what cind of civ 2... with that i have many problems, like i dont know how to play multiplayer or play scenario that you have for civ 2. but i am really, really want to play them

P.S. i play in some other civ(dont know what exacly), and i like only what i have right now... if, what do i have now, not good for playing yours scenarios, so can i do something, that will be change the graphics like in my civ?

yea i have the same problem my civ2 is russian version. so where can i download orgininal version of classic civ2 in bin format that i could copy to cd

What does the top of the window say when you click "Game - Game Options" (the first choice in the menu bar above the large map window, and the first choice in the drop-down menu)? It should give the version name and number you are using.

Holy cow I had no idea it was available in so many different languages I am fairly new to the whole phenomena and it is blowing me away how many people around the world love this game. I am not sure what version that is at all but looks like mine.

lliuksas, u dont need .bin format for copy to CD... u can just d/l the game in other format or like folder and then borne on CD.

Guys, if you know answers for some of my next questions, please answer me.

-In civ 2 gold, i can change graphic like in my civ(look screenshot on top)?
-Can i play in this game in russian or i must have english version?

Ravena, yea... maybe you don't know, but in russia this game was very popular sometime... a long time! only in 98 i thing this game stop to be so popular... i dont live in russia, but i know some people how live there and play in this game and not only in russia... but allso in germany and israel

to bad that creators of this great game(idea of the game...) are not trying to do something that will be more interested... like creat more tehnology and more units... more civilization on the game(becouse its not so good when you have only 7 Civilization ....) and many more... just to bad

Just to let to let you know it is possible for you to make more units and technoligies for the game by going in the rules text and putting your own technoligies and units in the space provided.You can also change what your new units look like by going into the units file and changing the ones in the space provded for new units.

Could you post a screenshot of the "Game - Game Options" screen? My dad's a Russian linguist, and though I can't actually understand or speak the language, I can still "read" the words. He also has a lot of Russian-English dictionaries lying around, which means I could probably look up what the words say so I could understand them.

I know that it is possible(becouse i look the scenarios on this site) but i am not understand the way how i can change this:-\ is there some manual for this?
P.S. can i do unit for special country special unit? lets say for allies, marins and f18... and for germany tigers(tanks)?

Well, for the English versions, there's a "patch" that lets you go from Classic to MGE and from there to other expansions, but I'm not sure if it works for the Russian version.

Guys, i'm really, really whant to play multiplayer with you and also play in scenarios that you did, but i cant!!! i have this civ 2, and scenario of ww2 that come with the game but its too easy... please answer to me...
Is there chance that i can change the graphic of the civ 2 gold and/or PBEM to graphic like i have in my civ 2?(except for units)
becouse i see the screenshots of civ gold and i didnt like it...:-\
