First off, I would like to commend our president, and whoever attended the turn chat last night on a job well done. The only thing that went wrong was everyone declaring war again, but that likely would have been nearly impossible to avoid.
In light of the fact that we are now first in land area, and many of our cities do not even have a cultural improvement, I strongly suggest we begin to focus less on offensive military units and begin building mostly upgradeable spearmen. Also, those cities, particularly in our heartland, that do not have a cultural improvement, should begin building one almost immediately. Particularly, Eyr, Khatovar, New Falcon's Haven and Civinator. The first two are in my province, and their build queue will be: finish whatever they are working on, then library and temple. This will serve to fill in our borders, and will help to overwhelm our ignorant enemies with culture. Also, once the garrison in Fox's Nest is very large, it needs to start on a marketplace. PDX should probably continue with military production, unless it is possible to build good units in some of the newly captured cities, in which case, it needs a temple. Finally, I insist that Shailonegha be connected to the trade network. It is no longer building warriors to be upgraded, so it's people should have access to the same luxuries as everyone else.
It is also my opinion that expansion to the south should be put on hold until we are sure we can defend what we have. Once we have pikemen, I will allocate a large portion of the treasury to upgrading spearmen. These should be place in border cities, and for a time, will make our borders safe.
We are the strongest civilization in the world now, and the best way to insure it stays this way is to bring our nation out of the ancient ages culturally and economically.
