something i dont understand about trading advances

when other civs want to swap techs with you and you accept, how come you can choose other techs as well ?

isnt that stealing ?

Well, yes. But considering the ammount of cheating the AI does anyway, it is not a big deal!

Just remember, once the Library is built, if it isn't in one of your cities, make sure you only trade with the civ that has it. Why give 2 civs the tech if you're only getting one in return? (Naturally, and as usual, if YOU have the Library, you don't ever trade, at least, not until it expires.)

FearlessLeader2 brings up a good point about the great Library, but sometimes you have to ask yourself, "How badly do I want this advance?"
