Something wrong with upload window, or is it me?

When I click on the upload file link today, nothing happens --- no window pops up. If I then subsequently hold my cursor over the forums window's status bar, I get the message 'error on page' or 'done, but with errors on page'.

Is something wrong? Or is something weird with my computer?

Works for me. Maybe it's your browser? I dunno. Try rebooting, maybe. That usually clears out my errors.

I've had this problem before. You're using a program that blocks pop-ups. It must be mistaking the upload page for a pop-up ad. Try altering the program's settings, or disabling it all together (the forums don't have pop-ups).

That's right. . . Sabo10 had this problem. There should be a thread about it somewhere here in SF. . . .grumble grumble search disabled grumble grumble. . . .

I don't even have a pop-up disabling program....

*edit* Oh, yes I do. Can't imagine what (save lack of the morning cup of coffee) made me forget that the silly thing was still on my computer.

Thanks for the advice; now I can upload my GOTM pics when I get home tonight.

Is anyone else having this problem:

When I upload something, and the conformation window pops up, if I click around with it too fast, it gets stuck and I have to exit it and the rest of IE (through ctrl+alt+del). Also, when I right click on a file and select properties, then highlight the URL of the file so I can copy and paste it, it gets stuck (and I have to use c+a+d, and exit IE), so now when posting I have to manually type in any files that I upload.

Nope, I've got nothing for this. I can only recommend that you download Opera, a browser much more reliable than MSIE.
